I ran a trial of this group back in April 2021 when I recognised a need, among some of the women I knew, to be part of a wider understanding of what it means to be 'menopausal.'
As a 53 year old woman I am quite late to the party, but as a Nutritional Therapist, I am well aware of all the fantastic functional foods there are out there that can really help balance that all important oestrogen, the drop of which is the main cause of the unpleasant symptoms you hear about. I also began to realise what a huge impact stress has on all your hormones - across the whole of your body - and there are over 200 of them! Cortisol is like the big bass drum in a finely tuned orchestra and insulin, another hormone that the body will always prioritise.
