Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness... images of Autumn always invoke a time of peace & calm for me... Bountiful fresh food, bright colours, new recipes & ideas, but also a time for storing, preserving & reflecting back on the high Summer, holidays & downtime.
September feels like the new January - back to being sensible! But in a wholesome, healthy & hearty way. The wonderful Autumn ingredients make this easier as we embrace pumpkin, kale, corn, beetroots, mushrooms, root veggies & more. Seafood is back in season - crab, shellfish, mackerel & haddock, and also game - think hearty pheasant, lamb or venison stews.
As thoughts turn to colder weather, building a strong, resilient immune system is the name of the game, and with that a well functioning digestive system. Our body's systems work best together when they are in harmony - so Autumn is a fantastic time to align our gut / brain connection so that we can truly enjoy this magical time of year, with our dreading the shorter days & longer, colder nights.

COURSE CONTENT
Upon enrolling, you will receive the Autumn Nutrition Reset recipes & a personal food diary template.
We will start gently, approaching the most obvious toxins such as caffeine and alcohol, gently weaning ourselves off them and replacing them with healthful alternatives. We will be focusing on hydration, blood sugar balancing, eating fresh fruit and veggies at every meal and getting plenty of deep restful sleep. You will learn some wonderful new recipes, support your nervous and endocrine systems, and properly nourish your bodies from the inside out.
I will be encouraging daily walks and yoga, breath work and journalling to help everyone fully embrace this ultimate reset.
There will be bumps in the road! Reducing alcohol and caffeine, not to mention sugar, can be tricky and leaving one feeling a little at sea or uncomfortable. But we are all in this together! And I can promise you that that the end of the 3 weeks you will feel stronger, lighter and more energetic than you did before. You will also feel more in control of yourself and understand your default habits better. Hopefully you will have had a chance to hardwire in some new ones too.
